Victim of Nightclub Assault Offers Reward to Catch Attacker

A man who was left with multiple injuries after he was punched in the face at a Bath nightclub is offering a Pounds 300 reward to bring his attacker to justice. The incident, which happened in the Manvers Street nightclub Second Bridge in the early hours of May 17, saw the 30-year-old victim, who does not want to be named for fear of reprisals, knocked unconscious after being punched in the face by a man with a knuckle duster.

During the whole of August the American Museum in Bath is open every day of the week. To celebrate, the museum is increasing the number of kids included with a family ticket to eight children (five to 16 years old). So, for Pounds 21.50 two adults and up to eight kids can go and enjoy a fun day out at the museum.

Driver Trapped

KEYNSHAM: A woman escaped with cuts and whiplash after her Vauxhall Corsa was in a head-on collision with a van near Keynsham on Tuesday. The crash happened at 5.47pm on Charlton Road and left the car in a hedge and up against a tree.

Workman Killed

BOX: A workman has been killed in a freak accident while laying gas pipes near Box. Stuart Meakin, 28, from Gloucester, was killed last Thursday.
