The entire committee of the Bath branch of a national business pressure group has resigned.

The move by the seven-strong voluntary committee running the 840- strong Bath branch of the Federation of Small Businesses is understood to have been sparked by a year-long disagreement with the organisation's regional management. It is understood that the Bath branch had wanted the existing Gloucestershire and West of England region to be split in two so that the former Avon had its own entity.
