Like Stuart James (Letters, September 10) I take no particular issue with low-energy light bulbs and have them in use in most rooms, but have old-style dimmers in two rooms that require filament bulbs.

I have therefore done a bit of research into what sorts of bulbs I could rely on obtaining in the future, and I have found two possibilities.
