A professional ballet dancer who feared he would never walk again after being violently attacked has made a "miraculous" recovery to be home with his family in time for Christmas. Former Kingswood School pupil Jack Widdowson was left for dead with serious spinal injuries after being beaten unconscious on a night out in South Wales last month.
At the time his family were warned that he could be paralysed. But the 19-year-old has defied his doctors' expectations and made significant progress, to the point where he is now able to walk short distances unaided - and one day hopes to dance again.See the full content of this document
