The Bath Chronicle has teamed up with BT to offer a local company the chance to transform its business with a money-can't-buy marketing makeover. BT Marketing Solutions, a leading provider of marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, has created the Marketing Makeover competition to give one Bath company, regardless of size or industry, a masterclass in marketing. The winning firm will receive a new website, designed and hosted by BT for 12 months, a full-page colour display advert in the local Phone Book of their choice, a consultancy session with local brand agency The House and a business mentoring session with a senior UK executive from Google at their head office in London. Two runners- up will receive an advertising package in The Phone Book worth Pounds 500.

Marketing strategies may once have been considered an extravagance that only large companies could afford, but a few simple measures - a well-designed website, targeted listings in online and printed directories - can pay real dividends for small enterprises.
