Summary
I felt very sorry for Christopher Ward who had a speed bump induced accident recently in Batheaston (as reported in Chronicle Letters, June 11).
He may not know that the main driving force behind the installation was the Batheaston Parish Council whose members believe that the people of this village want the new speed limit and its accompanying expensive road furniture.
