The Diocese of Bath and Wells has spoken for the first time about its negotiations with housing developers over the sale of a plot of land in Larkhall. The Rev Michael Norman, from St Saviour's Church, is facing the dilemma of choosing between his neighbours, who are opposed to plans to build homes on the former allotment site in Southbourne Gardens, and raising money for a new community youth centre.
