Last weekend, First was once again due to provide buses between Bath and Swindon owing to line closures.
For any of those who are unlucky enough to face this again in the future, here are a few warnings... The service is divided into two legs, with a Bath-Chippenham service and a ChippenhamSwindon service. Apparently, this is for 'driver breaks'. If FGW cannot organise a 30-mile journey without a break, how do National Express, Shearings or Megabus manage? Timetables are important but there is no effort to co-ordinate coaches to minimise delays if you are going between Bath and Swindon.See the full content of this document
