On May 5 next year, the voters of the United Kingdom will be asked to make the most significant political decision of the lifetimes of most of them - whether to retain or change the system we use for electing our MPs. To publicise this, the 'Yes to Fairer Votes Campaign' paraded a first-past-the-post guy outside Bath's Guildhall recently It was later burned to symbolise the hoped-for death of the old system.
