People in Bath and north east Somerset with an incurable condition are being supported in their own homes.
A new service has been launched by Sirona Care and Health to help people diagnosed with lymphoedema, a condition that causes chronic swelling. Specialist nurses Jackie Mackenzie and Paula Byrne assess the needs of people with the condition and work out how to support them in their homes. Once diagnosed the treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the patient, and includes skin care, exercise and compression therapy.
