Summary
As the sound of the helicopter fades away back towards Penzance, it's hard to believe that the silence on Tresco isn't just deafness caused by the noisy 28-mile flight.
But thankfully, it's real. it may sound too good to be true but, until the tractor starts up to take us to our home for the next few days, the silence is only broken by the wash of waves on the shore and the wind in the trees.
