Summary


It has taken nearly 50 years but Jean Sheard has finally made it into print - she published her Chinese fantasy for children, Cave in a Casket, this year.

But all that time has not been spend trying to break into the fiercely competitive books market. For much of the time, her story has lain forgotten in a cupboard while she has kept busy at many things including, for the past 16 years, setting up and running the Lacock Bakery in the National Trust village.
