In your article of May 15 "Action group fights plan for 65-bed 'workhouse'" Mike Grist is quoted as saying they "continue to listen to local opinion prior to submitting any formal planning application."
Anyone who was at the meeting he refers to in January will not be encouraged by this. Councillor Pritchard, one of the main proponents of this scheme rounded up the meeting by saying, (and I quote) "we have heard many opinions here, most of which we can dismiss..."
