Protesters Make Point On Housing

Summary


Environmental campaigners from Newton St Loe and Woolley sought to make their points to Prince Charles in a very British way yesterday.

Dressed in her best outfit, Jane Giddins, chair of Newton St Loe Parish Council, was keen to raise directly with the prince the issue of preventing new homes being built in the village, which is part of his Duchy of Cornwall's estate.
