The current outbreak of norovirus at the RUH is regrettable and the advice to staff and visitors to wash their hands thoroughly is, no doubt, wise.
Staff, particularly medical staff, should also be provided with adequate facilities to change out of their own clothes and into fresh uniforms when beginning their duties and out of contaminated uniforms and back into their own clothes when finishing.
