Following a terrible experience in a restaurant in Bath, I felt compelled to write to your paper to see if any residents of Bath find they receive poor service because this city is so biased towards tourism? I feel more and more in Bath that standards of service are slipping as a lot of establishments see tourists as a 'quick buck' who are unlikely to constitute regular business and as such think they can get away with it.

It is terrible that anyone receives poor service in the city as you wouldn't want tourists going away with poor opinions of Bath, but I feel it is ultimately locals who suffer in the long run.
