The owner of a village pub who closed the premises last year but failed in a bid to turn it back into a home has decided to revive the watering hole.

The Northend Inn in Batheaston was shut last year when Sally Gray, who had run the pub with her partner for six years, submitted a planning application to turn the 17th century property into a house.
