Well it's certainly been an unusual spring for the property market, with a number of hurdles for potential buyers and sellers to jump over or steer round on their way to coms pleting a property sale or purchase.

The late winter snow certainly put back any opportunity for estate agents to display "business as usual" signs in their office windows during January. Likewise, the election in early May had the effect of taking buyers' eyes off the ball for three to four weeks, clipping short the spring market.
