Police fear an organised gang could be responsible for nearly 80 bike thefts in Bath city centre over the past four months.
Cyclists are being warned to take better security measures after the spate of incidents over the summer. Most of the bikes taken, around 50, have been mountain bikes, but the thieves have also targeted road, stunt and hybrid models. City centre beat officers have been carrying out undercover patrols to try to catch the culprits red-handed, and are now calling on bike owners to make their property more difficult to steal.See the full content of this document
