Summary
The sadly predictable lunacy of school children being barred by their school from everyday physical contact with each other compels me to add to my previous letter to you headed 'There is no need for greed' (December 16, 2010) when I said "one notes the constant battle between the Puritan and the glutton, you see it on a cultural and a personal level".
The point is that at the moment we are firmly, dangerously, in the grip of the Puritan. Political correctness, for example, is the Puritan in modern dress as is the fascism around 'health'.See the full content of this document
