Summary


In light of the announcement that B&NES will have to make an amended application for a share of the pot of Pounds 600 million for transport, I feel it is appropriate to question why they are attempting to waste even more money by continuing to object to village green status being granted to the part of the proposed Bus Rapid Transit land in front of Kaynton Mead.

Many residents of 20 years and more have signed statements and written letters to verify that this land has been in constant use as a space for public events such as bonfire celebrations, barbecues, Jubilee celebrations as well as for recreation, relaxation, walking and blackberrying.
