WILTSHIRE A five-wicket defeat to Devon at Trowbridge saw Wiltshire's unbeaten run in the MCCA Trophy group matches come to an end.

In a match reduced to 45 overs a side, Wiltshire were soon in trouble batting first. They lost their first three wickets for 16 runs before Henry Langford (32) and Steve Bullen (25) put on 49 for the fourth. Further wickets fell before James Hibberd (17) and Alex Senneck (29no) put on 32 for the eighth wicket. The Wiltshire innings closed at 135 for eight wickets. In reply, Devon lost their first four wickets for 20 runs to opening bowlers Senneck (1-9) and Bedbrook (3-25) before David Lye (47no) and Josh Bess (25) put on 51 for the fifth. Sandy Allen (25no) joined Lye to see Devon home with more than three overs to spare.
